What's Covered
We cover movement and manufacturing defects under normal use — issues that arise from how the watch was made, rather than misuse or accidents.
If something doesn't function as it should under everyday wear due to a covered defect, we'll make it right.
Depending on the circumstances, our solution may include repair, replacement, or other servicing support, and we will guide you through the most appropriate option as clearly and simply as possible.
After-Warranty Care — US$100 Repair Cap
Our commitment to your watch doesn't end when the warranty expires.
We believe a well-made mechanical watch should remain serviceable for years to come, without unpredictable repair costs.
For out-of-warranty repairs accepted and arranged through Halcyon, your repair charge will be capped at US$100 per approved service case.
Halcyon will also arrange and cover the round-trip shipping costs and applicable customs duties associated with the approved repair.
Our team will assess the issue and explain the proposed repair before any work begins.
We want you to feel confident that your Halcyon can continue to be cared for, long after the original warranty period.
What's Not Considered a Manufacturing Defect
Normal signs of use — such as strap wear, light scratches, ageing of leather, or natural changes to surface finishes — are not treated as manufacturing defects.
Damage caused by strong impacts, drops, misuse, or moisture beyond the rated water resistance is also not considered a manufacturing defect, even if it affects the movement.
That said, we're always happy to advise on repair and service options, including strap replacement, if you need help.
