Halcyon Blue is inspired by life’s pursuits, drawing from the art form of blue-and-white porcelain. Three artists were invited to illustrate their interpretations of three life aspirations: Guiguzi,and poetry representing wisdom, serenity respectively.

The design takes inspiration from the famous Yuan dynasty blue-and-white porcelain jar, Guiguzi Going Down the Mountain, which was successfully auctioned by Christie’s for £15 million. This masterpiece has been recreated in a 1:10 scale.
Guiguzi was one of the most renowned strategists, hermits, and educators in Chinese history. His disciples went on to achieve greatness, penning the famed Art of War by Sun Bin. Guiguzi’s descent from the mountain symbolizes confidence and the ability to resolve challenges effortlessly.
